My name is Song Bai (白嵩), I am a Ph.D. student and shutterbug living in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China PR. I started taking photography in 2011 when I got my first DSLR (Nikon D90) from my parents as a gift. Photography has become part of my life since then. Doing research for the Ph.D. degree is a two-dimension space which is consisted of a laboratory, cafeteria, and dormitory. Yet photography, together with sharing time with family, add another dimension and make my life colorful and vivid. As the saying goes “A picture worth a thousand words”, every photo captures a unique moment. I am always fascinated by the thought that how exciting it will be if a photo freezes a period of time into a single frame and tells a whole story! I believe in the idea that good photography can talk without words, no matter if it is a landscape, portrait, or news photo. Life is great, it is full of blessings and possibilities. I am grateful for those breathtaking inspirations I got from this wonderful world, and I would love to share stories through photography with you!
